Maple TV Guide (mapletvguide.com) is a free, independent Canadian television listings guide. This page describes what information we collect, how we use it, and your privacy rights.

1. Data we collect

We do not collect personal data beyond standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamp). Logs are retained for security and diagnostic purposes only and are never shared with third parties.

2. Cookies & local storage

This site uses only your browser's localStorage to remember your light/dark theme preference (tvguide-theme). No first-party tracking cookies are set by this site.

3. Advertising — Google AdSense

Maple TV Guide uses Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense and its advertising partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads relevant to your interests, based on your visits to this and other websites.

4. Google Analytics

TV schedule data is retrieved from broadcast data providers. Movie images may be served from TMDB (themoviedb.org). Each of these services is governed by its own privacy policy.

Under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), you have the right to access personal data held about you and to request correction or deletion. Because we do not collect personal data beyond automatic server logs, no action is generally required.
